The Floating City

It seems that in St. Louis, Missouri, If you look at the sky you can admire The Floating City,
a resounding town, enchanced by grace and melancholic evocative melodies: the people there
are deadly depressing, and fragile too..They cradle their sadness in a little taste of
6o's, melted with indie-sadcore romanticism of a Harmonies built on arcs, rhodes piano, percussions,
shy guitar riffs, and male vocals. 12 tracks alterating brilliant ballads (Oh My Guard, Awake)
to faster noir-ish scenes (Smooth Cobra Future, Entering a Contest). Then track 13 is 6o sec of
silence, to prepare the way for the catchy Oh No!, - a sort of speed-up U-turn, to forget this
always-present low-state mood. ps. CD artwork is fantastic.

Sembra che a St. Louis, Missouri, se guardi in alto nel cielo, puoi ammirare The Floating City,
una città che risuona, incantata nella Grazia e malinconia di Melodie Suggestive: la gente di
lì è veramente depressa.. e fragile, sembra.. Si cullano la loro tristezza in un piccolo gusto
stile 6o's, arricchito di romanticismo indie sad-core di Armonie costruite su archi, piano rhode,
percussioni, timidi riff di chitarra e un ragazzo alla voce. 12 tracce che alternano brillanti
ballate (Oh My Guard, Awake) a più veloci scene noir-esche (Smooth Cobra Future, Entering a Contest).
Quindi la traccia 13 sono 6o sec di silenzio, per preparare la strada all'ammiccante Oh No!, -
una sorta di inversione a U in corsa per smorzare l'umore basso, un attimo prima di finire il
viaggio. - ps. l'artwork è davvero fantastico.
